Biography: Son of Hugh Fraser; born Alvah, Banffshire, 25 September 1886. University Diploma Agriculture, 1908. Private, New Zealand Expeditionary Force, April 1915 ; commissioned, December 1916. Served-New Zealand, 1915; Gallipoli, September-December 1915; Egypt, December 1915-March 1916; France, April 1916-February 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant. M.C. Mentioned in despatches, November 1918.
