Biography: Son of George Forrest; born Monquhitter, 24 July 1895. Arts, 1913-15. Private, 2/4th Gordon Highlanders, January 1915 ; served with 1/4th, 7th, 9th, Gordon Highlanders (attached R.A.F.). Commissioned, April 1917. Served-Home, France, January 1915-January 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant.
