Biography: Son of John Farquharson; born Aberdeen, 20 February 1882. Arts, 1900-02. Gunner, Machine Gun Corps, May 1916. Served with Tank Corps; commissioned, October 1918. Home, 1916, 1918-19; France, 1916-17. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
