Biography: Son of Wilson Eager; born Melton, Suffolk, 14 June 1881. M.B., 1905; M.D., 1912. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C. (Territorial), May 1908. Mobilized, 4 August 1914, with 1st Wessex Field Ambulance; organized and equipped 2nd line unit. Medical Officer, Military Hospitals, Warrington, Netley, Mayhall, Littlemore. Served-France, January-June 1916 ; Home, 1916-18. Final rank, Acting Major.
