Biography: Son of James S. Cruickshank; born Auchterless, 8 October 1880. M.A. (I Math.), 1901 ; B.D. (Hons.), 1915. Commissioned, Royal Army Chaplains'Department (4th Class), November 1915. Served-Home, 1915-16 ; France, Germany, June 1916-September 1919. Final rank, Chaplain, 4th Class, O.B.E. Mentioned in despatches.
