Biography: Son of George H. Cruickshank ; born North Leith, 22 March 1888. B.Sc., 1911; M.B., 1912; George Thompson Fellow. Interned, Berlin, August-November 1914. Lieutenant R.A.M.C., 28 December 1914; attached to Royal Field Artillery; Royal Air Force. Served-France, Macedonia, Palestine, Egypt, January 1915-. Final rank, Captain.
