Biography: Son of Robert Cran, born Kirkhill, 23 February 1875. M.A., 1896 ; M.B., 1899. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 15 July 1915. Served-France, 1 year; Medical Officer, Military Hospital, Nottingham, 1917-18. Final rank, Lieutenant.
