Biography: Son of Patrick Cooper; born Aberdeen, 31 July 1891. Law, 1919-. Fettes College O.T.C; Cambridge University O.T.C. 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Highland Brigade, Royal Field Artillery (T.F.), 1910. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached to 281 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Served-Home, 7 months ; France 3½ years. Final rank, Captain. Mentioned in despatches, Christmas 1917.
