- From Provenance Catalogue: J.F. Kellas Johnstone was born in 1846. A man of great learning, he interested himself in antiquarian work all his life. He was chiefly responsible for the Bibliographia Aberdonensis, published 1929. He died in 1928. See Bulloch, John Malcolm: K.J;s Magnum Opus.
