He is mentioned as presenting an "antependium" to the altar of S. Maurice. Inc. St. Andrews 1530 as rector of Glenbervie and commendator of Inchmahome, dean of Aberdeen (recommended by James V in 1540- BL, Ms. Royal 18.B.vi, f.97), still c1547
