Duncanson, John

Biography

Canon regular of St Andrews; principal of St Leonard's College, by 1553-c.1556. Conformed at Reformation. Died 1566.



From Provenance Catalogue: Duncanson was a member of the order of St August at St Andrews, 1552-1566, becoming Canon of St Andrews in 1555. He was appointed Principal of St Leonard's College in this period and died 1566. See Watt, D.E.R., Fasti ecclesiae Scoticanae Medii Aerii, St Andrews, 1969.
