Clark, James
Biography
Physician, practised in Dominica and was appointed a member of the King's Council there. Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh and the Royal Society (elected 1799), the Royal Society of Edinburgh (elected 1783), the Society of Antiquaries and the Society of Arts. Best known work on yellow fever. Died in London, 1819.
