M.A. Univ. Of Edin 1597, regent of Edin 1598-1604, member of Aberdeen Assembly 1616, principal of Edin 1623.
From Provenance Catalogue: Born at Perth and educated at St. Andrews, where he later became Professor of Philosophy, Adamson went to Edinburgh in 1589. In 1623(5?), he became Prinicipal and died in 1651-2.
