Peacock, George

Biography

George Peacock completed his bajan (first) year at Marischal College, Aberdeen, in 1666, and later was a master there. He was made regent of the college in 1673, but was deposed in the political troubles of 1717, along with several other members of the teaching staff for Jacobite leanings.
