Biography

Physician. Born Gloucestershire. Educated St John's Coll., Cambridge, adm. 1551, B.A., 1555, fellow 1556, M.A., 1558, M.D., 1568. Senior fellow and bursar of his college, 1562. Held the Linacre scholarship in medicine 1560 and 1564. Fellow of the College of Physicians, counsellor 1588, 1600, 1602, 1604, censor 1581-5, treasurer 1583, 1604-5, 1607. President of the College of Physicians 1589-1600. Died 1608.
