Biography
Born 13th July, 1619. Son of Mr Alexander Youngson, minister, Durris. Matriculated at Marischal Coll., 1635. Graduated and became regent there, probably in 1642, on the retirement of William Blackhall. Elected regent at King's Coll., 1644, where he remained until 1646. "He afterwards joined the Roman Catholic Church, became a member of the Society of Jesus, and taught in the Scots College, Madrid." - Bibliog. Aberd. Died 1679.
