Seafort, Frances Mackenzie, Countess of

Biography

Married Kenneth, 4th Earl of Seaforth, 1684. Second daughter of William Herbert, marquis of Powis. At the revolution of 1688, the family were captured in a yacht trying to escape, but then crossed to France. Had prolonged financial disputes with her mother-in-law after the death of her husband. Died in Paris 1732.
