Rudd, Anthony, Bishop of St David's

Biography

Born in Yorkshire. Educated at Cambridge, he graduated BA (1567), MA (1570), and BTh (1577), DTh in 1583. At an unknown date, he married Anne Dalton; three sons, Anthony, Robert, and Richard, survived. Bishop of St. David's in Wales, 1594. Died in office in 1615. The estate continued in the family until 1701.
