Printing
Use printers on the campus network, even from your own device
Printing on the campus network
All printing on campus is via networked multi function devices (MFDs) and printers. All devices can print in colour and scan, with the core fleet AM-5000 having the ability to print and scan in A3.
Whether you’re working on a networked PC on campus, or on a personal device on or off campus, you send your print jobs to a holding queue. Then, when you’re next on campus, you can print from this queue at any MFD or printer. (Direct printing from USB is not possible.)
And you can use the PaperCut online print service to manage your print queue and top up your print budget. See our guides for more, including printing from personal devices and paying for printing.
Printing through Print Portal
For large scale posters, flyers, booklets, business cards etc. you can use the University's Print Portal: www.abdn.ac.uk/uopaprint. These items are paid for separately through the portal, and delivered through our partners at Langstane. See the guides section for more on using the Portal.
