ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara

Suitable for students studying Spanish and Latin American Studies, Modern Languages and Social Science.

ITESO is the Jesuit University of Guadalajara. Founded in 1957, it belongs to a network of over 228 Jesuit universities around the world. They share a 450-year-old tradition of education, a tradition that has been at the centre of world thought, known for educating leaders in all the fields of science and art.

ITESO is known for its academic excellence, a profound concern for local and global contexts, and its commitment to the improvement of people's living conditions. Our commitment for the environment is reflected in the fact that our campus is ranked 3rd in Mexico, and 15th in North America, in the 2020 UI Green Metric World University Rankings.

NOTE: Our Mexican partner institutions teach in Spanish. Any student who is not on one of our Spanish Degree programmes, or isn't taking our Spanish language courses, can only go abroad here if they sit and pass a DELE exam at B2 level, or if the Spanish Department are prepared to sign off that your Spanish is at that level in an official form. Students are not expected to have this at the time of application to Go Abroad, but will need to have it prior to receiving an unconditional offer to go abroad.

Today's world demands that we do things in a different way.
