The ISUWU program offers courses in a broad range of business-related topics and provides an education with an international and intercultural perspective. ISUWU participants can benefit from various cultural and social activities organized by the ISUWU team. These activities give participants the opportunity to get to know life in Vienna, Austria and their fellow students at the same time. The social program is a mix of social, cultural and international events.

University of British Columbia - Vancouver Summer Program

The VSP is a wonderful opportunity for students to study at the beautiful University of British Columbia, Vancouver Campus. By offering globally relevant academic courses and sociocultural activities specific to Vancouver and its surroundings, the VSP encourages students to engage in cross-disciplinary learning and develop their understanding of Canadian culture and values. With over sixty different course packages over a wide range of disciplines, there are courses for nearly every degree.

University of Victoria - Short-Term Programmes 2026

The Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria is offering a variety of short-term summer programmes. They are offering two programmes for the summer of 2026: the International Summer Institute for Business Management (ISIBM), crafted specifically for undergraduate students, and the Summer Graduate Business Studies (SGBS) program, tailored for graduate students.

• Duration: ISIBM A: 2 July - 23 July 2026; ISIBM B: 3 August - 20 August 2026. SGBS Programme: 15 June - 22 July 2026
• Subject areas: Business Studies and Business Management

University of the Fraser Valley International Summer Program

UFV’s Experience Canada Summer Program offers students a three‑week, all‑inclusive academic and cultural immersion in British Columbia. Participants choose between two courses focused on either immersive media creation or environment and sustainability. Students can enjoy organized activities, daily excursions, and easy access to Vancouver. Housing, most meals, scheduled airport pickup, and full student support are included—making it a fun, stress‑free way for students to experience Canadian university life.

Metropolia Summer School 2026

The Metropolia University of Applied Sciences are offering Creative Arts & Music courses this summer. Students can join top-tier courses in Big Band Conducting course; Vocal Artivism - Choirs for Ecocide Law; Reconnecting with Nature in Post-Digital World; Mindful Photography - Seeing through Silence; Writing Stories that Connect; Participation, Inclusion and Agency; and Urban Design in Helsinki. University of Trier 53rd International Summer School

Expand and improve your German language skills during a summer course at an internationally oriented university in one of the most beautiful regions of the European Union! All programme points are coordinated in terms of content and are included in the total price. KU Eichstätt Ingolstadt - Summer School 2026

The Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) gives students and professionals from all over the world the opportunity to study abroad in the heart of Bavaria. Students can choose between three different courses that include language classes to suit your level of proficiency (A2-C1 levels). Students will gain valuable insights into German and Bavarian cultural traditions, literature and history, and also have the chance to visit iconic landmarks. The summer school organises excursions to destinations such the UNESCO World Heritage Bamberg and Ingolstadt.

• Duration: 19 July - 08 August 2026

Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz - GO Heimat 2026 

This year's GO (Global Outreach) project includes a week of interdisciplinary academic talks focusing on “Heimat” (home or homeland), climate change and migration at JGU Mainz, and a second week of collaborative project work with schools in Ahrweiler. The project will end with the Scot-t Fest, during which you will have the opportunity to showcase your research. The project's main language will be English, so all students can apply, whether they know German or not. There is an optional two-week German language course at the start of June you can sign up for, in addition to the programme, to improve your language skills.

• Duration: 14 June - 28 June 2026

Osnabrück University Summer School

Osnabrück University is offering three levels of German Language and Culture summer schools this year with various levels and lengths. The A1 level course and A2 level course offer participants with no prior knowledge of the German language the opportunity to acquire the foundations of German and to experience more than 1000 years of German culture and civilization in and around the city of Osnabrück, the City of Peace. By the end of the program, students will have mastered basic language skills in German equivalent to level A1 or A2. The Advanced Intensive German course offers the same, with the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the language for students who already have an A2/B1 level of German. All students will be able to participate in a cultural programme including guided tours, exhibition visits and an excursion to the Northern Sea.

Tübingen International & European Studies Summer School 2026

The University of Tübingen is offering two periods of summer schools for 2026, with two different topics per session. Students attending the June session can choose between 'Society, Misinformation, and AI in Europe' and 'Sustainability, Biodiversity, and Ethics in Europe'. The August session will offer courses on 'The EU in Permanent Crisis?' and 'Representing the European Past in Cross-Cultural Communities'. All courses include parallel German language courses for students from A0-A2 level. The summer school includes a social and cultural programme to help students explore the sights of Tübingen and immerse in German culture.

The HKUST International Summer School welcomes students from partner institutions to study at HKUST. The program aims to create a rewarding exchange experience for students from around the world. Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) International Summer School 2025

Established in 2004, the CUHK International Summer School (ISS) has been one of the most popular undergraduate summer programmes in the region. Each year, some 600 international and local students join the July session of the ISS to experience its intensive academic sessions and Chinese culture activities in a multicultural learning environment. The five-week programme has courses in five academic areas available to study, as well as excursions, activities, and visits to immerse in the local culture outside the classroom.

The HKUST Summer UG Research Program is a research placement for students who are passionate in doing research and would love the opportunity to work alongside HKUST faculty on research projects. This hands-on experience will allow them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, develop research skills, and contribute to meaningful work in their field of interest. Additionally, it fosters mentorship relationships, helping students navigate their academic paths while enhancing their resumes with valuable research experience. Students will work on a HKUST research project under the mentorship of the research project supervisor, while being immersed in the local Hong Kong culture through orientation and cultural activities throughout the program.

SURP provides an opportunity for international students to undertake research attachments for eight weeks during the summer. Students will be actively engaged in research under the supervision of a CUHK faculty member and earn three credits upon successful completion of the programme. The Bologna University Summer School in Classical Languages, organised by the Department of Classics and Italian Studies, offers intensive courses in Greek and Latin with the aim of enabling students to read some of the fundamental texts of Italy's cultural tradition. The AIU Summer Program is a six-week, intensive Japanese language and culture study program designed for highly motivated undergraduate students around the world. Participants can take elementary courses taught by experienced Japanese instructors to hone their Japanese language skills in a small class environment. Class levels range from Absolute Beginner to Advanced Beginner learners of Japanese language.

ITESO, Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara - International Summer Program

The International Summer Program at ITESO offers course taught in English and Spanish, taught jointly by an ITESO and an international professor. All courses (except Spanish Language) are co-taught with international professors and ITESO professors. Courses are offered in Spanish, English, or both. Students enrolling in courses offered in Spanish must prove a B2 level of Spanish and for those offered in both Spanish and English - a B1 level of Spanish is required. Students will take classes with ITESO students. The taught topics range from Astronomy, to Chemistry, Entrepreneurship, to Photography.

VU Amsterdam Summer School

This year's Summer School will occur between 4 July and 2 August (including arrival and departure days). VU Amsterdam provides top-notch short courses in subjects like Law, Health & Computer Sciences, AI, and more. Yonsei International Summer School

The Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) opened its doors in 1985 and since then, YISS has become an integral part of campus life based on a unique blend of Korean and global cultures. YISS continues to grow and evolve, accommodating the needs of a rapidly changing student body and meeting the challenges of a fast-paced global society. The 2026 program includes courses from the arts, culture, and humanities while also offering cutting-edge classes in management and economics, global issues, history, social sciences, and science and technology. Moreover, a shorter, 4-week option is also provided to accommodate students that can only be away for a limited period of time.

University of North Carolina Wilmington - Summer International Research Experience (SIRE)

The Summer International Research Experience (SIRE) program is a 4-week, in-person program designed for visiting international students seeking hands-on research experience in Finfish Aquaculture, with exposure to additional areas of aquaculture and marine science. Students will work closely with faculty mentors and complete the program with a formal poster presentation showcasing their research. This new summer opportunity is hosted by the Office of International Students and Scholars and the Center for Marine Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW).

University of Freiburg Winter University

The University of Freiburg Winter University offers an immersive academic programme in the heart of Europe and gain a global edge through language, culture, and career-focused learning. This programme offers students a unique opportunity to engage with European studies, sustainability, and innovation while enhancing language skills. The module is complemented by exciting field trips and insightful visits to leading institutions and companies. This immersive experience combines theoretical input with practical exposure, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of European issues and the skills to engage with global challenges.

There is an integrated language course that supports students’ communication abilities in real-world contexts. You can choose between a German course for beginners, which will equip you with essential everyday language survival skills, or an advanced English course, which will help to boost your speaking confidence and to refine your writing skills. Extracurricular activities like welcome breakfast, campus and city tour, and a trip to the Black Forest on the weekend are also included in the programme fee.
