Albuquerque, New Mexico, is one of the most affordable and exciting cities in the USA. UNM was founded in 1889 and today is a world-class research university with over 30,000 students. UNM offers courses in more than 200 different academic programs for exchange students.
The main campus features a unique Pueblo Revival architectural style that echoes the buildings of the nearby Pueblo Indian villages. With more than 310 days of sunshine, cool nights and warm days with very low humidity and bright blue skies are typical. Students can enjoy many cultural amenities, including museums, a lively theatre scene, and the world's largest Hot Air Balloon fiesta.
