Founded in 1556, the University of Geneva is an international public research university located in the heart of Europe. So, it is no wonder that the university enjoys worldwide recognition and ranks amongst the top 100 best universities worldwide. The institution offers inter-and multidisciplinary fields both in research and teaching with focus on life sciences (molecular biology, bio-informatics), physics of elementary particles and astrophysics.

Located in the city of Geneva, the university is close to beautiful nature and of course, CERN.

Finances

We have active partnerships in Switzerland, with funding for students being paid by the Swiss Government under the Swiss European Mobility Programme (SEMP). Award amounts vary depending on the duration, though it is approximately £1,300 per semester. This funding is administered by the host institution.
