Yonsei University

Yonsei University is the first and the best private university in Korea.

Since its founding in 1885, Yonsei University has been at the forefront of higher education. The "Yonsei Legacy" is a unique and powerful one.

Yonsei University offers the most comprehensive and modernized international non-degree programs for ambitious international students, which include the exchange/visiting student program (SAY), Yonsei International Summer School (YISS), Winter Abroad at Yonsei (WAY), short-term programs, and various Korean language programs offered by the Korean Language Institute.

Degree Suitability

Suitable for most Arts and Social Science degrees, excluding Education and Psychology.

Unsuitable for Science degrees.

Only available to students who will be in Level 3 for their period abroad.

  • Go to http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr
  • Click 'English' at the top of the page
  • Click on the "Course Catalogue and Syllabus: Undergraduate and Graduate" banner on the right frame
  • Search for the course that you want to take either by choosing a College (e.g., College of Liberal Arts, College of Science) and semester or by inserting course title of course code in the search box if you know it.

Note: The Afternoon Korean Language courses are selectable under the Study Abroad Course in Undergraduate Level.

Finances

South Korea is a Group 2 country under the Turing scheme.

There are currently no additional scholarship opportunities associated with Yonsei University.
