Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

With around 31,000 students from 120 nations, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) is one of the largest and most diverse universities in Germany. It is the only German university of its size to unite nearly all of its Departments on one campus, which is located in close proximity to Mainz city centre. JGU offers a wide range of subjects and courses, including humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, media and economics, medicine, art, music, and sport - only technical subjects and engineering are not offered.

JGU is one of few campus universities in Germany and is situated in the city of Mainz. The campus provides students with a place to study, research and live. Alongside academic institutions, it also contains student accommodation, childcare facilities, and even restaurants and cafés.
