Meet the Team

Louisa Stratton - Go Abroad Manager & Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator

During my degree, I studied in France and Germany, and worked in Germany and Sweden. After graduation, I worked as an International Officer for Queen Margaret University, promoting Scotland all over the world.

Melanie Viney - Lead Go Abroad Officer (Incoming)

I have travelled to Asia, Africa, Europe and USA. I moved from Australia to Aberdeen in 2007, and have lived, worked and studied abroad (right here in Aberdeen!) for over 15 years now!

Fiona Jardine - Lead Go Abroad Officer (Outgoing)

During my undergraduate degree I studied in Germany and Italy, and I also worked in a ski resort in the French part of Switzerland.

Chris Knight - Go Abroad Officer (Incoming)

Though I didn't study abroad while at university, I do try and travel at every opportunity. I have been fortunate enough to visit many countries, with Italy, Norway and China being some of my favourites.

Originally from Vancouver, I immigrated to Amsterdam as a teenager before moving to Aberdeen for University. During my studies I went abroad to Hong Kong for a semester, and have decided to make Scotland home.
