Bursaries of £6,000 are available to students of certain Energy Geosciences Master's programmes
Description
The Energy Transition Centre for Masters’ Training (CMT) will be awarding CMT Bursaries, each valued at £6K, for students who will be enrolled in an energy geoscience-related MSc course for the forthcoming academic year 2026-27.
Funding of the Bursaries is kindly provided by our CMT sponsors:
- bp
- ExxonMobil
- CNOOC
The principal objective of this CMT initiative is to attract highly talented students into vocational training in energy geoscience.
Eligibility
The Bursary is available to those studying the following programmes in the academic year 2026-27:
- MSc Geophysics (Energy)
- MSc Integrated Petroleum Geoscience
- MSc Sustainable Energy Geoscience
Criteria
Applications are assessed by the University and the Energy Transition Centre for Masters’ Training
Application Procedure
1. Apply for one of the eligible MSc programmes at the University of Aberdeen
2. Complete the Bursary Application Form
3. You will be contacted by the University of Aberdeen in April to let you know if you've been successful
