MSc Artificial Intelligence

The University of Aberdeen has over 30 years’ experience, and a world-wide reputation in AI-related research, focusing on areas such as machine learning, data science, natural language generation, and multi-agent systems.

This programme covers the theoretical underpinning of these subjects as well as the technology used to apply the underlying theories of AI to real-world problems. Students also learn how to engineer and evaluate AI systems.

Our close industry links mean you will have opportunities to apply your skills through training and networking events and industrial placements organised through organisations such as the Data Lab, Intel AI Academy, IBM, Intelligent Plant, and Aberdeen City Council.

The Data Lab Scholarship is funded by The Data Lab, Scottish Funding Council and the European Social Fund.

Eligibility

The scholarships are open to applicants classified by the University as Home/EU for tuition fee purposes (excludes rUK), who hold an offer of admission to the MSc Artificial Intelligence programme commencing in September 2020.

Criteria

The Data Lab MSc Artificial Intelligence Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, on a first come, first served basis. Successful applicants will be expected to present an Upper Second Class honours degree or above.

Application Procedure

There is no separate scholarship application required. Eligible applicants, who have been made an offer of admission to the MSc Artificial Intelligence programme, will be automatically considered for a scholarship on a first come, first served basis. Successful candidates will be notified by e-mail.
