Archaeologists are aiming to uncover a lost piece of Aberdeen's architectural heritage - with help from National Lottery players, members of the public and school children.

University of Aberdeen professors, Pete Smith and Jo Smith, will host a meeting and panel discussion this week (Saturday, March 18) looking at how evidence is used in making decisions about climate change.

The University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir hit No 3 in the UK Classical charts two weeks ago and are still in the top 10 with their new CD, 'Immortal Memory - A Burns Night Celebration'.

Entries are invited in either fiction or non-fiction that addresses in some way the lasting significance of place in our lives. Submit your entry by 30 April 2017.

Please send your entry by Friday 21 April 2017 in order to be considered for inclusion. There is no prize this year, other than possibly hearing your work presented at the University of Aberdeen's May Festival, 26-28 May 2017.

Pete Stollery's work Pipeline, for organ and digital sound, has been shortlisted for a Scottish New Music Award 2017 in the electroacoustic/sound art category.
