Limited number of awards available up to one hundred pounds to support postgraduate students and staff at the University undertaking research in Circumpolar Northern Regions. Can be used towards conference fees, research fieldwork, equipment etc. directly relating to a degree and/or research. Apply by 30th May.

This award must be used for expenses upcoming. All funds must be claimed before 15 July 2025.
Please send a short application (500 word maximum) describing your detailed research plans, including a schedule and a budget to Dr. Rob Wishart (r.p.wishart@abdn.ac.uk) and Dr. Isabelle Gapp (isabelle.gapp@abdn.ac.uk) by Friday 30 May, 2025 (indicate The Centre for the North Award in email subject line).
Please note that as part of the award the successful application will have to write a short report for inclusion on the Centre for the North website (with a photo if possible). Please note the Centre for the North also reserves the right to request recipients to attend North Centre events.
