Current Research

For my current project, I focus on researching locally produced EFL materials in Southeast Asia. My work focuses on skill distribution, quantitative corpus analysis, multimodal discourse analysis (MDA), and critical discourse analysis (CDA).

Teaching

Non-course Teaching Responsibilities

I am currently teaching the BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) programme for Scottish-Indonesian teenagers in Aberdeen under The Indonesian Society Scotland (TISS), in association with the Educational and Cultural Attaché (Atdikbud) of KBRI London and supported by the University of Aberdeen. My lessons blend Indonesian language instruction with cultural insights tailored to their mixed heritage. By integrating both Scottish and Indonesian cultural elements, I aim to enhance cross-cultural understanding among my students.
