Biography
Emily is a nutritionist (ANutr Registered Associate Nutritionist) and has worked in The Institute of Applied Health Sciences since 2023. She is a Teaching Assistant and Teaching Fellow and is course coordinator for PU5923 Extended Work-Based Placement in Applied Health Sciences. She also teaches on PU5548 Work-Based Placement in Applied Health Sciences and PU5027 Fundamentals of Research Design.
Following completion of her MSc Clinical Nutrition in 2022, for which she won the Boyd Orr Best Student Award, Emily began her career in academia as a Research Assistant at The Rowett Institute exploring attitudes towards healthy and sustainable diets. Emily's research is also focused on the role of Generative AI in Higher Education and supporting professional identity development in students using Q methodology and qualitative research methodologies.
