Dear colleagues,

Everyone in the School is shocked and my thoughts go out to all of Corrie’s friends and colleagues and of course his wife, Chris, and their four children at this sad time.
Corrie was a well-known and respected figure within the School and across the University which he joined in 1992 as a lecturer in Chemistry before rising to Chair in 2001 before serving as Head of School from 2003-2010.
If you require any additional support at this time please remember there are resources available to you such as the counselling service or the Chaplaincy.
Best wishes,
David McGloin
Head of School of Natural and Computing Sciences
