Data Management: Planning and DMPs

Our Digital Research Team provides assistance with the building of research applications and data management services on a cost recovery basis. Costs should be included in grant applications where possible.

The University also provides access to an online system for the development of a data management plan (DMP). The Digital Research Team can support you with advice, guidance, and prepared text, as well as reviewing and commenting on your DMP.

Costing IT in Research Projects

This guidance has been produced by the Digital Research Team to help you add your project's IT requirements and associated costs to your research budget, ensuring that, where possible, project costs are recovered from the funder. Calculate costs according to advice and guidance and then include in your project budget sheet.
