Update to Remote Access client on University managed laptops
What's happening?
Your University of Aberdeen managed laptop uses a F5 BIG-IP Edge remote access client to connect to university resources.
On Monday 3 November we are updating the F5 server and, once completed, your laptop will receive a new F5 software client through an automatic update. You will need to input your username and password once the update completes, as per the instructions below.
Please note: If you only work from the UoA Aberdeen campus, or use a desktop, then you will not be impacted by this message.
What do you need to do?
Once the new F5 client installs, you will need to input your University of Aberdeen username and password into this pop up box that should appear:

Please ensure you use your UoA username, such as s01js99, and not your email address. Entering your email address will lead to an error.
