We welcome students and staff to organise social or spiritual events with us at the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy. We are here to serve as a social and spiritual centre on campus. We have spaces for you to meet, share meals, worship, and connect with your community. There are a range of facilities which you can book out, including a Lounge, Meeting Room and Kitchen. The Quiet Room is available at all times to anyone.
No charges are applied for room bookings for the University community but there is a small charge of £5 for the use of the Kitchen by groups to help cover cleaning and equipment costs.
Room bookings for external groups will be charged as follows:
£20 per booking for the Lounge or Meeting Room (Includes use of Kitchen)
The Kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery, teapots, utensils, and pots and pans. There is a hot-water machine for hot drinks and a microwave oven, a basic electric oven/hob, a small fridge, a dishwasher, and a double sink with draining racks. People using the Kitchen are required to leave it clean and tidy. There is a small charge of £5 for groups who use the Kitchen to cover cleaning and equipment costs.
