The William Guild Building was built in 1969/70 and contains the Psychology department. The building's main entrance also provides access to the Arts Lecture Theatre and features a seating area for relaxation.

This building commemorates William Guild DD, Principal of Kings College from 1639-1651 and Benefactor and First Patron of the Aberdeen Incorporated Trades.
