Career Mentoring Programme
As an undergraduate student (level 2 and above) or a postgraduate student at AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, you can register as a mentee in this programme and benefit from regular sessions with an experienced professional to gain one-to-one employability advice, support and guidance in a specific profession and/or sector.
In session 24/25, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis from Monday 4th November for all students. If your application is accepted and we can match you with a mentor, you will commence your three-month partnership at this point.

Internships and opportunities
Students are encouraged to look for opportunities for work experience and internships. Although it is not an academic requirement, it is a great opportunity to develop skills and gain a better understanding of the work environment. We have a mini career course on finding internships which you may find useful.
The Careers and Employability Service announces different opportunities throughout the academic year to students interested in applying for on-campus or off-campus placements.
