Please join us to welcome Bastian Jansen, a Senior Adviser at the Norwegian Ministry of Energy, where he contributes to the development of legal and policy frameworks for offshore wind, with a particular focus on floating wind power. His work supports the Ministry’s overarching goal of facilitating a coordinated and holistic energy policy that promotes high value creation through efficient, secure, and environmentally sound management of Norway’s energy resources. Prior to joining the Ministry, Jansen worked at the Norwegian Energy Regulatory Authority and earlier as an associate at a commercial law firm. He is involved in preparing area tenders, licensing processes, and international cooperation on offshore wind development.

At this event Bastian will discuss perspectives on the energy transition in Norway as well as the legal and regulatory frameworks shaping this transition.
