Irene Couzigou, elected convenor of the ESIL Interest Group on Peace and Security, organised a workshop where the Interest Group members discussed the following topic ‘Reconstructing Peace: (Mis)Uses of International Law’. She also chaired a panel that analysed how peace can be reconstructed in and through International Law.
Edouard Fromageau, elected member of the ESIL board, contributed to the organisation of the ESIL annual conference that followed the ESIL Interest Groups workshops. The conference, attended by over six hundred members from all over the world, adopted a forward-looking approach and discussed how to rebuild International Law.
