Welcome to the Law School Research Festival, 26th to 28th May, in New King's 1 and King's College G7
The Law School is organising a LLM conference on 26th May in New King's 1 where postgraduate students will present their research. A PGR conference will follow on 27th May, also in New King's 1 that will focus on PhD students research.
The 28th May of May will be dedicated to Law School academics, in King's College G7.
In the morning, Law School researchers will discuss the merits and challenges of writing books, book chapters, articles and other research papers in law or at an interdisciplinary level while also presenting the results of cut edge research (eg, on cyberspace and AI regulation, sustainable access to energy and other natural resources, cryptocurrency). In the afternoon, Law School academics will outline and debate on some of their impactful research projects (eg, the consequences of death on law, the legal effects of AI use on daily life, treaty negotiation processes in a changing world).
Precise agendas will be shared later.
Everyone is welcome. So save the dates!
