Elphinstone Hall
Nestled at the very heart of the campus, the Hall occupies a central, easily accessible location, with a variety of reception and breakout rooms nearby, making it ideal for any occasion.
One of the most striking and historic venues at the University of Aberdeen is the baronial Elphinstone Hall, designed and built in 1930.
Its versatile layout makes it suitable for a wide range of events, from dinner dances and business breakfasts to industry exhibitions and presentations. Situated at the heart of the campus, the Hall is complemented by nearby reception and breakout rooms for added convenience.
Flooded with natural light, the Hall showcases its hammer-beam roof and oak-panelled walls, enhanced by some of Scotland’s oldest oil-on-canvas paintings, creating a truly unique setting. During warmer months, delegates can enjoy the cloisters and take in views of King’s Chapel.
Elphinstone Hall is open for bookings throughout the year, with the exception of the festive season.
