Physics for Teachers

Overview

The Physics for Teachers CPD course is a practical based course and will provide teachers with an opportunity to try experiments suitable for Advanced Higher investigations, Advanced Higher course work and Higher Physics. Attendees will benefit from being able to work in first class laboratories, away from the school environment.

Aims of the course:

• To provide ideas for AH investigations using a limited budget
• To introduce some alternative pupil experiments and teacher demonstrations
• To extend teachers’ practical knowledge and expertise
• To network with other teachers and course providers
