Can a leopard change it's spots?

What will the Aberdeen and North East of Scotland economy look like in five, ten, twenty or fifty years time?

Andrew Mitchell from ClimateLaunchpad believes that there must be more urgency in the region to develop new industries, accelerate a transition away from oil and gas, and take action to remain a significant global centre for energy.

At this seminar, Andrew will draw on his experience transforming the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems across the UK with the Cambridge-MIT Institute and through the Informatics Ventures and ‘Engage Invest Exploit’ initiatives he founded in Edinburgh and grew across Scotland. He will pose the question “Can a Leopard change its spots?” and present ClimateLaunchpad, the world’s biggest cleantech business ideas competition, as an opportunity for the North East to create next generation of (clean) energy billionaires.

ClimateLaunchpad is offering up to €105,000 in cash and grants (not a loan or equity investment) for early stage cleantech business ideas.
