We are delighted to host this Open Seminar facilitated by our Executive Fellow, Chris Matchan.

Chris has global experience in heading HR and Organisational Development roles comprising of;  senior UK and international Human Resources and Organisation Development roles at Fujitsu in the UK, Japan and the Middle East and Africa;  Guinness/United Distillers in Hong Kong and Australia as the HRD for Asia, and in the International Region before working on the core change team that merged  Guinness with Grand Met to form DiageoCitiBank  in London and New York  as the Head of OD for the Emerging Local Corporates Region and where he also worked on the change team for the merger with Travellers Inc to form the current CitiGroup;  and the Pentland Group - a FTSE 250 business when he joined and which subsequently Privatised, and the former owners of Reebok, now owners of Speedo, Berghaus, Ellesse, Lacoste footwear and Canterbury etc - where he was the Group HR Director.

He ran his first P+L when he spent time as Managing Director and Senior Client Partner for European Consumer Markets at the American headhunting firm KornFerry before setting up his own consulting business in 2002. He has lived and worked on the ground in Asia, Africa, Europe, Australasia and South America and works hard to combine the best of academic research with simplicity and pragmatic commercial sense.

During the masterclass Chris will demonstrate how to navigate your way through the shark infested waters of finding a new role. We would cover your core value statement and where you are in the flow state and how to convert this into cv writing.

We will then cover how to position yourself out in the market and how to contact recruiters and head-hunters.

you then have the opportunity to ask Chris absolutely anything yon the subject  – the questions you have always had about head-hunters but have never been able to ask!
