Medical Physics 50th Anniversary Reunion Event

This year the Medical Physics programme celebrates its 50th anniversary at the University and The School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition would like to mark the occasion by holding a reunion for all Medical Physics graduates on Friday 2 November 2018. 

The day will include a medley of presentations from staff members and former students alongside walking tours taking in, amongst other things, the Mk1 MRI scanner and the current prototype Fast Field Cycling MRI scanner. There will also be lunch and the chance to chat with other students of the programme, both past and present.

The presentations will include the following:

50 Years of Medical Physics teaching in Aberdeen – Prof. David Lurie

Brain structure and the influence of Artificial Light at Night - Naif Majrashi

Early Life Determinants of Brain Structural and Functional Connectivity and Relationship with Cognitive and Depressive Outcomes – Clarisse De Vries
