Hosted by Principal & Vice Chancellor, Professor George Boyne, the event will reflect on the rich history and achievements of the University across its 530 years, the progress and impact of Aberdeen 2040 strategy, five years on from its launch, and the invaluable contribution of our community of alumni, friends and supporters towards Aberdeen’s ability to make a difference to the world around us.
These insights will be followed by a discussion panel hosted by Aberdeen graduate and broadcast journalist David Shanks where a selection of alumni, friends and partners will share their reasons for choosing to support the University of Aberdeen.
A light sandwich lunch will be available from 1215pm, with the main event beginning at 1pm. To register to attend please email Gillian Cooper at giving@abdn.ac.uk by Friday 7 February noting if you will join for lunch, along with any allergies or dietary restrictions and access requirements.
There will also be the opportunity for networking and socialising with other attendees over lunch and with further refreshments from 2.15pm onwards.
