Drs Mair, Rea, and Schofield awarded Leverhulme Grant for Calving Glaciers
Doug Mair (PI), Brice Rea and Ed Schofield (Co-Is) along with Nick Kamenos (U-Glasgow, Co-I) have been awarded a £238,775 Leverhulme Trust Research Project Grant entitled Calving Glaciers: Long-term Validation and Evidence.

Maiden Bennachie: World's First Doric Opera
Third-year music student and composer Joe Stollery has won funding from The North theme towards A Maiden Stone - A Site-Specific Opera for Bennachie, a project involving the composition of an opera as well as workshops in schools.

Scottish Sound Festival Premiere After Soundconversation

Nunalleq: The Yupiit and the Arctic World
Exhibition extended until 20 December 2013 due popular demand. Showcasing recent archaeological discoveries from western Alaska, excavated by a team from the University of Aberdeen in partnership with the Yup'ik Eskimo village of Quinhagak now on display, in the Old Aberdeen Town House.
