Part of the Interdisciplinary North Seminar Series (Autumn 2014) featuring the North Theme Postgraduates. Who will each will present a short summary on their research and findings, so far.

This will be followed by a question and answer session.

Finishing up with a broader discussion about the Theme overall.

Everyone will be given the opportunity to make suggestions for its future development.

  • Candice Hatherley:New Fieldwork Approaches to the Emergence of Early Medieval Kingdoms in Northern Scotland.

  • Lukasz Mikolajczy: Geoarchaeology as an aid for understanding human activity in the changing environment of coastal zones.
  • Anni Mäkelä: Diversity and function of Arctic benthic ecosystems and their resilience to climate change
