Launch Event

We are delighted to announce the publication of the 11th edition of the Elphinstone Review, which we celebrated at a launch event on Friday 16th of May!

Thanks to the generous support of University of Aberdeen Development Trust, we were able to produce physical copies of the journal and host our launch event on Friday.

It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the writers and editors without whom there would be no journal to celebrate.

This year’s volume showcases the strength and diversity of undergraduate research at the University of Aberdeen, bringing together outstanding work from across the humanities and sciences.

From critical explorations of colonial legacies in global health, to ethical debates on the legal personhood of artificial intelligence, and even an introduction to cutting-edge tools like the 'Anatomage' virtual dissection table used in Aberdeen’s medical school; our contributors have produced work that challenges, informs, and inspires!

We are immensely proud of this year’s edition and grateful to everyone who made it possible.
